Winston Ooi Upon graduation, Winston accepted employment with Blackhawk-JSC NASA. In June 2000, he left the position to run the import business full time which he established in 1996. Winston travels extensively in Asia and most of the purchased items are hand pick by him. He has a good eye for fine gems & jewelry. His specialty is Burmese jade, and has been dealing with jade since his early years. His passion are Australian black opals. In addition, Winston has a good network of gemstone dealers and jewelers for support and maintaining professional standard. Ashby & Hassina Makan Ashby and Hassina is the perfect husband and wife, and also business partners team. Born in Zimbabwe, and running an import business, both of them gained strong experiences in African imports. The African items are selected by them, with strong knowledge of the American market and taste. They also work closely with the artist and carvers to create merchandize or scrimshaw items that will suit the local market. In our team, Ashby and Hassina are responsible for African imports and trade show marketing. Come and meet them at trade shows, and they would love to talk to you about Africa. Gayle TwoHawks Gayle TwoHawks is Cherokee Osage Choctaw Native American Indian. She makes wonderful pieces of pendants, rings, and necklaces from wide range of semi-precious stones. Some of the stones she uses are Kingman Turquoise, Pietersite, Laradorite, Chrysocolla, Amethyst, Carnelian, Agate, Australian Opals, Tigereye, and lots more. Her work is seen in many retail stores across the States. Not many people could claim that their jewelry is genuine made by a Native American Indian. Her pieces are highly collectible, and she only signs pieces that she likes and have quality of standard. In addition to that, every single piece is unique because she does not make two pieces the same. All her jewelry pieces are made with quality and care to assure long lasting value and durability through the generations. |
